Wall’s Mini Poppers
I like ice cream, and my husband love them so much. Now, my kid start to enjoy the good taste of various ice cream. I seldom eat Baskin Robbin’s or Häagen-Dazs, because they are so expensive for me. Instead of these branded and expensive ice cream, I like Wall’s ice cream, the nations number one ice cream brand, wrapped with fun, laughter and good times.
Some of the favorite ice cream I like most of Wall’s are Mini Cornetto hazelnut, Mini Cornetto Vanilla and Chocolate, and the newest product in this series, Mini Poppers.

I have bought 1 box of Wall’s new product Mini Poppers. How much? Oops. I just threw the resit. But if not mistaken, it cost about RM6++. Any one can tell me?

Crispy satay in China
How about some satay today?! Where is the best place to eat satay? Of course the best place is Kajang, which is so famous for its satay that people from far and near come to taste Kajang Satay! No other place you can find satay which is as rich and as tasty as Kajang’s satay!
In kajang, there’re about 8-12 satay stalls, but the Hj. Samuri one is still the best. Located near the kajang stadium,This family oriented business has gained the loyalty of lotsa satay fans from all over Malaysia and also foreign visitors. Their peanut satay sauce that comes with the satay is the most delicious part. The specialty is that you can mix it with some sambal. They give generous portion of the sauce. They provide a variety of satay like chicken, chicken liver, mutton, beef, beef tribe, fish as well as deer and rabbit. >[via Yummy Corner]
However, in China they have a different type of satay. But, I don’t think I dare to try them out unless I am in a Fear Factor contest where I will get RM100k for eating it, hahaha. These Chinese satay are really disgusting and make me feel like throwing up. Don’t understand why those people like to eat such food?!

See, what is that? A spider! Do you want to put that in your mouth? I think you pay me RM5K, I also dare not to eat. RM10k maybe lar, hahaha…

Dragon Boat Festival and Rice Dumpling
Guess what, today is chinese Dragon Boat Festival or Duanwu Festival. Duanwu Festival is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. Thus, it is also known as the Double Fifth. There are nothing special in this festival except we eat bamboo-wrapped steamed rice dumplings called “zongzi”.

There are a variety of rice dumpling in different countries. For example, Eastern Rice Dumpling is a restaurant which sells a variety of Eastern rice dumpling since more than 30 years ago. I am not promoting this restaurant, just attracted by its different styles of dumplings. Maybe I can go and taste if I go to Singapore some day.

Sushi King, Tesco Puchong
I recall that I have never tried any Japanese food before until my sister introduced it to me close to 10 years ago. This make me sound so old, isn’t it? Hehe…
First time, when I tried my first sushi, it wasn’t bought from Jaya Jusco nor Sushi King nor Denki Sushi, it was my sister’s home-made sushi! Although it was not as nice as what we can get in Sushi King, but I started to fall in love with sushi because of that. Before I forgot, I have to tell you how much I love the wasabi!

Laksa Shack in 1 Utama
Last weekend, my little girl, my hubby and I decided to drop by one of the biggest shopping centers in Malaysia, 1 Utama Shopping Centre after we paid a visit to a friend in Damansara.
Came dinner time. There are so many nice restaurants in 1 Utama, some of them are so high class that we decided to say away from. Some of them are best went with friends and not with family members… but at last we thought of giving Laksa Shack a try because the aroma of the laksa is really inviting! Haha.

The restaurant looks nice, simple decorations on the walls and etc. But the tables in the restaurant are a little too small. Perhaps that’s because they want to put more tables to make more bucks in a limited space. Rental not cheap in 1 Utama, you know, so have to make the most out of the space lor.

Beware what you eat. Eat Healthy!
Let’s talk about yummy food today.
There will always be those fattening food that are easy to make, easy to get, easy to crave, and delicious to eat! You think “OK, I know this is bad but it can’t be that bad!” Think again. Here are the top 4 foods you should never ever feed your family or yourself!
1. Doughnuts
Doughnuts are fried chock - full of sugar and white flour and loads of fat. An average of 3.5-ounce sugar doughnut weighs in with about 400 calories and contains very little other nutrients besides fat. These sugary treats may satisfy your craving but it won’t satisfy your hunger as most of the calories come from fat.

In fact, for Chinese style fried rice, there are a lot of different variations too; such as chicken and prawn rice, pork fried rice, char siu fried rice, shrimp fried rice, vegetarian fried rice, Yong Chow fried rice and etc…
However, I bet you have never seen, not to mention tried these yummy, cute, fashionable, and stylish fried rice before. Let’s check them out and who knows maybe you can try to cook for your loved ones too.

Fried rice with a man’s face on it, this may be suitable for your father, cool. Haha…
Dont ask me for the recipe, I don’t have them. Haha, I am not a cook!

Long John Silvers Restaurant
Yesterday, I went to Mid Valley Megamall with a close friend because Christmas is just around the corner and we wanted to shop for some nice dress and perhaps Christmas gifts. Anyone wants gifts exchange?
Anyway, the crowd at Mid Valley was hugh, there were so many shoppers and visitors although it was not a weekend.
Before we start our shopping, of course we have to have dinner first otherwise where got energy, right? After much surveying, we finally decided we should give this restaurant Long John Silvers a try although the place looks deserted compared to other more popular eateries such as Mc Donalds, KFC, Yoshinoya, the Chicken Rice Shop and etc. The good thing about this was that we get to order our meals pretty fast as there was no long queues

Pretty nice outlook of the Long John Silvers restaurant. We just wonder why it has such a weird name, any idea?
