Terrible Traffic Jam in Puchong

“Why there is traffic jam? Make me late for work and appointments”, this is the usual question I ask myself everyday. I believe whoever stays in Malaysia, especially in the Klang Valley has this sort of unanswered question too.

Traffic Jam Jokes

If you are staying in Puchong then I have to congratulate you for choosing this great place. You have lots of facilities here which include a few hypermarkets, one wet market and even a brand new medical center in Bandar Puteri. But, one problem most of you face is the traffic jam, which I think is not something unusual in most parts in Malaysia, however you can really feel it in Puchong because you have to use LDP to get out of here to where ever you are heading to. Puchong citizens do not have other alternatives because LDP is the only way and you even have to pay RM1.60 toll. Yes, queue up to pay for toll too! How frustrating is that if you had to do that everyday when you get to work and come back from work.

Why oh why?! I have to start my journey really early in the morning in order to reach my office on time. After the RM1.60 LDP Tol Plaza Puchong Barat, usually I will immediately stuck in the horrible traffic jam. This forces me to use the other route which is the Elite Highway to by-pass the route through the Proton, and F&N plants. Unfortunately, sometimes this route is also very jam especially at the traffic light, which is right before the turning into the Elite highway.

This whole thing complicates my timing to get to the office. I have to allow a lot of time buffer to reach my office on time and not get the “why you are late again” look on my boss’ face when I enter the office. Boss, are you staying in Puchong? LOL.

I am staying in Puchong too, but never got caught in jam. This is because my work place is in the other direction, no need to use LDP. :-)

However sometime i have to use LDP because of the training or seminar. So I will wake up very early and leave home at around 7am.
