Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2007
Putrajaya International Convention Centre will be the venue for the 1st Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2007. This is one of the golden celebration for Malaysia’s 50th year of Nationhood.
The wonderful view across the lake overlooked by the grand Seri Gemilang bridge will be the main focus for two weeks from 18 August 2007 until 2 September 2007. Renowned international firework teams from around the world such as Australia, Japan, Italy and Malaysia will gather in Malaysia to compete in one of the world’s greatest Musical Fireworks Competitions for the Merdeka trophy.
The Malaysia International Fireworks Competition, or MIFC, will be a festival of light, music, color and culture. It provides magical experiences for all that attend in the lead-up to Malaysia’s Merdeka Day, Hari Merdeka.
Regular fireworks displays will be dwarfed by the pyrotechnic artistry at Putrajaya. For at least twenty minutes on each competitive night, the maestros of the night will amaze spectators with breathtaking presentations, judged by a panel of celebrities, who will select a winner.
