Long John Silvers Restaurant
Yesterday, I went to Mid Valley Megamall with a close friend because Christmas is just around the corner and we wanted to shop for some nice dress and perhaps Christmas gifts. Anyone wants gifts exchange? 
Anyway, the crowd at Mid Valley was hugh, there were so many shoppers and visitors although it was not a weekend.
Before we start our shopping, of course we have to have dinner first otherwise where got energy, right? After much surveying, we finally decided we should give this restaurant Long John Silvers a try although the place looks deserted compared to other more popular eateries such as Mc Donalds, KFC, Yoshinoya, the Chicken Rice Shop and etc. The good thing about this was that we get to order our meals pretty fast as there was no long queues
Pretty nice outlook of the Long John Silvers restaurant. We just wonder why it has such a weird name, any idea?
Our meal was served in less than 10 minutes. Thumbs up!
We ordered 1 ice lemon tea and 1 coke.
My friend ordered this meal set called “Grill Fish Rice and Salad”. The grill fish which is topped with some black pepper sauce is quite nice according to my friend. The set also comes with some vegetable salad. Price is RM13.90.
This was what I ordered for my dinner. Treasure Chicken with black pepper sauce and rice, comes together with some vegetables. It’s nice too, but not better than the grill fish. Price is RM7.40

long john silver is a fast seafood restaurant chain that started out in america in the late 60s. it only found its way here in malaysia recently. weird name, you say? look up “treasure island” by robert louis stevenson.

Long John Silver’s are all over the place over here in America. They recently merged with A&W Restaurants (same brand as the famous root beer) so there are two restaurants in one space. One serves seafood and the other one more American food like burgers.

I have always LOVE LJS when I was studying in the US.
I was very happy when it has FINALLY reached our shores.
A nice place to eat as compared to the always crowded McDs and BKs….
